This poor children remind me of all the pain I went thru in my whole immigration progress.
Back in 2004 my husband received a voluntary departure for being present in the US illegally. We have 2 children who were at that time 2 1/2 and our little one was 10 months. I remember the unbearable heat. I would cry myself to sleep every night. Because you see I followed my husband with our children to Mexico. I was always thinking I'm not going to let this immigration stuff get to me!! What a joke I was playing on myself. Life is really hard in Mexico. I think really hard is an understatement. Life is unbearable at times! My husband tried to find work and he did of course because he was determined to provide for his children. He makes a weekly salary of 900 pesos which roughly converts $90.00 us dollars. My husband is still in Mexico awaiting the status of his waiver which was filed in January of this year. God Bless those children! They are the ones that suffer the most because they don't understand nor will they.
